"Le Sechoir"

The Sechoir was originally a drying shed for walnuts & tobacco typically found in the country side of the region. It has been renovated into a cosy all timber chalet style house.

It is situated at the front of the property. The Sechoir has 2 bedrooms and sleeps  4 -5 persons.  The bedrooms are both located on the first floor and open out through french doors onto a verandah that runs along the length of the house.

 

There are lovely views to the gardens the valley and fields. The wooden verandah is a lovely spot to sit and read on the wicker lounges. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The second room has a double bed  a 3/4 bed and possible to include a single if needed.

On the ground floor  is an open lounge area and well equipped galley style kitchen  with gas stove, dishwasher, microwave oven. The dining area has lovely open views to the garden.

Here is also the bathroom and a separate toilet.  

​

The living room area has French doors that open to a vine covered private patio terrace  for alfresco breakfast, lunch or dinner.  From here you also have access to the shared  secured  swimming pool and garden area with sun lounges and tables and chairs  as well as the BBQ area...

​

A reverse-cycle air-conditioning unit provides cool air and warm air, depending on the season.

WHAT IS PROVIDED

 

 All bed linen and towels. Basic cleaning materials in kitchens.  Because of COVID 19, no food items are left from previous guests. 

The kitchens are well equipped with good quality pots and pans and a generous supply of crockery and tableware. There is a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and water kettle 

​

There is a medium size front-loader washing machine  in the shared laundry. 

 Gas BBQ. as well as a charcoal BBQ and equipment is available next to pool area .

​

We have available  a baby high-chair and baby cots, as well as a security gate for stairs if you need. Please  bring your baby's bedding. 

There  a TV and good Wi-Fi coverage in every house (there are four separate access points) as well as parts of the gardens.
