The Houses
There are three houses at "Les Paroules” Esparoutis
Each house is beautifully appointed with all comforts for a memorable holiday.
There are sunny courtyards and private terraces all surrounded by pretty gardens, with views of the meadows and valley. You can lounge and read a favourite book or just enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.
There is a secured garden with a swimming pool, sun lounges, dining area and a bbq.

Esparoutis is ideally located central to all the activities and beautiful sights of the Dordogne. Located within 5 minutes are the chateaux of Beynac and Castelnaud, Chateau Milandes, former home to the famous cabaret artist Josephine Baker. The stunning topiary gardens of Chateau Marqueyssac, the hill top medieval village of Domme, and river side village of La Roc Gageac are all just a few minutes drive from the property.
The prehistoric caves of Lascaux and Rouffignac and fortified walled market towns of Montpazier are just a 30 minute drive, and not to be missed is the historic town of Sarlat, the most perfectly restored medieval town in France, with its famous saturday gourmet markets is just 12 km’s away.
Esparoutis is located on a very popular 35 km cycle path between the village of Daglan and Castelnaud. It is just a short walk or cycle ride to the village of Saint Cybranet.There is a good Bio supermarket supplying fresh bread and other organic foods. A stunning walk or cycle of 2.5km, along a flat back-lane of the cycle path, and through the walnut groves along the river banks of the Ceou, is Castelnaud- la-Chapelle (Castelnaud). Here you will find your basic after hours, day-to-day necessities. Most importantly it is where you will find our local bakery/patisserie, a good butcher, a small basic supermarket and news agency. The Post office is open in the mornings right next to it is an ATM. There is also a little cafe and restaurant. Here at Castelnaud just by the bridge you will find a pretty picnic area with tables and benches a popular swimming beach, as well as canoe hire .
Esparoutis is a perfect place for family holidays and reunions, to read to write, to hold a workshop or a women's retreats. We are able to assist you in everything that you may need to guarantee a memorable holiday. There is much to find here in a region abundant with activities, stunning scenery and world renown prehistoric cave art. The Dordogne is a region known for its gourmets delights, black truffles, foie gras, duck confit, walnuts and wine.
LA MAISON
At the centre is La Maison, a huge stone farmhouse with an attached stone barn. A light filled open plan living room with stone floors and enormous exposed beams a grand country chefs kitchen and comfortable oversized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms

LE GITE
Le Gîte is situated to the rear of the property A stone village cottage maintaining many original features and rustic charm.
It is open and spacious, a private terrace overlooks the pool and a super cool loft bedroom for kids.

LE SECHOIR
Le Sechoir, is situated at the entrance of the property, is an old wooden walnut drying shed, completely renovated in a country wooden cosy chalet style.
